KMMS questions · 2027 entry
What UCAT score do you need for KMMS? There is no confirmed KMMS UCAT cut-off for 2027 yet. Here is the previous threshold, how KMMS uses the UCAT and how to plan your choices around your score.
Short answer
There is no confirmed KMMS UCAT cut-off for 2027 yet.
KMMS sets a threshold each year. In the 2025–26 cycle it was 2490 plus SJT Band 3 or better for Groups A and B. Do not treat that as the 2027 cut-off. For every KMMS requirement, see our KMMS Medicine 2027 guide.
You need to pass the threshold. But KMMS does not simply rank everyone from highest UCAT to lowest. Once you pass the threshold, another selection stage follows, where your grades are looked at in the context of your school. See KMMS contextual admissions explained.
In short: the UCAT gets you through the gate. It does not win the whole application.
Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making and Quantitative Reasoning are each scored 300 to 900, giving a total from 900 to 2700.
Reported separately, as Band 1 to 4. Band 1 is the highest.
Scores from the previous /3600 system should not be compared directly with current scores.
