KMMS questions · 2027 entry
No. KMMS does not use predicted grades in selection. Here is what Kent and Medway Medical School looks at instead, and what that means for your application.
Short answer
No. KMMS says predicted grades are not used in selection.
For a normal Year 13 applicant, achieved GCSE results are used during contextual selection. Predicted A*A*A* does not automatically make you stronger than another applicant.
For many applicants, KMMS compares your grades with the average performance of your school. It calls this Contextualise Everyone. Read KMMS contextual admissions explained.
So your achieved GCSEs matter, alongside passing the UCAT threshold and, if you are shortlisted, the KMMS MMI.
